Developing a Growth Mindset at Home
Parenting is hard – I know, I have a 16 year old and a 14 year old! I often say to my kids “I wasn’t given a manual when you two came along”.
I have read books and asked many questions on my parenting journey but one thing I wish someone had made me more aware of when my children were much younger was the impact that my mindset could have on my own children.
Developing a growth mindset for yourself is key for a more content and positive life but it is even more important when you have children. With a growth mindset you will think differently, your outlook will be different and you will start to use different language. You will say yes to opportunities rather than hiding from them for fear of failure. You will try new things and you will worry less about making mistakes. Already you can see how such changes could benefit your children.
Join me to learn how you can develop more of a growth mindset at home and how you can start transferring this mindset to your own children so that they can grow up looking at things with a different outlook.
The session will take place on Wednesday 24th March at 7:00pm and is for a maximum of 10 people.
